Best Music Player App for Mac, Windows, Android and iPhone

The best music player app / program for Mac, Windows, Android and iPhone, in my opinion, is Spotify.

The days of having an entire library of music stored on your computer, phone or iPod are over due to the number of music streaming services now available – Pandora, Spotify, Slacker, etc.

Spotify allows you to create playlists of any songs your heart desires absolutely free. On computers (Windows and Mac), you will be able to specifically choose the song you would like to listen to (by searching or adding it to a playlist) without any cost.

With the free version of Spotify, you will have to listen to some advertisements (like Pandora) and you will not be able to play specific songs on your mobile device (Android, Iphone, iPod, etc.). You will, however, be able to use Spotify radio on your mobile device which works exactly the same as Pandora – you can like and dislike songs to improve your custom radio channel.

For $10 a month, you can subscribe to Spotify Premium (that is what I have) which gives you completely ad free listening on both your computer and mobile phone and also gives you the ability to choose specific songs to listen to on your mobile device. This means that, for $10 a month, you can listen to whatever song you’d like, whenever you’d like. You can also download songs to your computer or mobile device if you’re going to be in an area without an internet connection.

Some people may not like to pay the monthly fee but to most Spotify users it is completely worth it. It is equivalent to purchasing 10 iTunes songs a month (120 per year) but, with Spotify, you have access to hundreds of thousands of songs instead of just 120.

You can create custom playlists with Spotify which will be available on any of your devices when you log in with your account. For example, if you create a playlist with 300 songs on your computer, that playlist will be immediately available on your iPhone without any downloading or syncing needed.

As always, if you find this video helpful, I would really appreciate a thumbs up and you may also want to think about subscribing to my YouTube channel.
