The Fellowes 73Ci Shredder is reviewed and demonstrated in a short video that even shows how to shred a CD with the 73Ci.

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Fellowes for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

The following Fellowes 73Ci shredder video review will present and demonstrate the primary features of the 73Ci Powershred including how to shred a CD.

The 73Ci Powershred became available in stores earlier this month and is selling for a retail price of $199.99.

The shredder has a lot of great features and is a great solution for small offices and home offices. The Fellowes 73Ci comes with the following features:

  1. SafeSense Technology – Shredder automatically stops when your hand touch near the shredder.
  2. Capacitive Touch Screen – Easy to use but hard to see items that are not lit up.
  3. Cross-Cut Technology – Watch the video below to see the 73Ci shred a CD like butter!
  4. Energy Saving System – Shredder turns off and saves energy when not in use.
  5. 100% Jam Proof – if too much material is put into the shredder, it will automatically spit it back out.

Overall I am very impressed with the Fellowes 73Ci.

The shredder also comes with wheels so moving it around is very easy. The wheels do make the unit move around a bit when opening the bin but does not pose too much of a problem once you get used to it.

The display panel on the front of the 73Ci includes warning lights for the following situations:

  1. Somebody is touching the unit near the shredder (SafeSense).
  2. The bin door is open.
  3. The 6 gallon bin is full.
  4. An illuminating scale to gauge whether or not your are putting too much material in at once.

The touch screen also allows you to turn the shredder on continuously (up to 10 minutes at once) for when continuous use of the shredder is needed.

A few extra garbage bags are included in the package for your convenience.

The disposal unit is a 6 gallon tank and, when we’re talking about shredded material, it will take you a while to fill that up!

The noise levels are about what you would expect with a shredder and the Fellowes 73Ci shredder’s compact size helps it fit into any part of the office.

The shredder also comes with a 1 year warranty so it is definitely worth a try!

Let me know which features you like best or are most excited about trying!

If you buy the Fellowes 73Ci Powershred on Amazon you can save $50!
