Changing your Google account / Gmail account password on an iPhone or iPad may seem like a simple task but once you need to do it, you may have trouble finding the option to change your password.
In reality, changing your password from an iPhone or iPad isn’t that hard but it does take some digging. The problem is that you cannot change your Gmail password from the Apple Mail app or from the Gmail app for iOS.
Instead, you must use a browser app (most likely Safari) and access one of Google’s desktop sites.
If go to http://google.com/settings in your Safari app on your iPhone or iPad you can then go to the “Security” section and one of the options will be to change your password.
Once you learn this trick, your Gmail password can be changed in less than a minute. If you’re looking in one of the mail apps for a way to change your Gmail password however, you may be searching for a while…
