Creating a LinkedIn Profile

A LinkedIn profile consists of the user’s job history, education information and accolades as well as other career-relevant information.

When users navigate to LinkedIn.com they are presented with the option to sign up for a free LinkedIn account.

After creating an account, the user will be prompted with a profile editing screen where all information can be added by the user.

One of the easiest ways to add information to LinkedIn is to copy and paste information from your already finished resume or CV.

LinkedIn also does a very good job of walking users through the profile setup process and users can create a nice looking LinkedIn profile simply by following the prompts provided by LinkedIn through the account creation and setup process.
