Microsoft Word Online Tutorial for Beginners

The above Microsoft Online introduction video tutorial introduces users to the online version of Microsoft Word.

To use Microsoft Word Online with the entire Office 365 suite included, there is a monthly fee which makes other alternatives such as Google Drive a bit more attractive. You can, however, use Microsoft Word Online for free so you can try it out and see what you think.

That being said, the online version of Microsoft Word is very similar to the desktop version and may be attractive to users that would rather pay small amounts monthly instead of a larger lump sum.

It is also great to use when you’re not on your computer, don’t have Microsoft Office (the desktop version) available and would like to quickly compose a document.

The topics included in the above Microsoft Office Online tutorial video include:

  1. How to access Word Online
  2. Composing Box.com notes
  3. How to create a document in Word Online
  4. How to access editing tools in Word Online
  5. How to download a document from Word Online
  6. How to share a document created in Word Online
  7. How to access Word Online documents through OneDrive

It’s great to finally have an online word processing solution from Microsoft – it took them a while to get in the cloud-based word processing game.

As always, if you find this video helpful, I would really appreciate a thumbs up and you may also want to think about subscribing to my YouTube channel.
