Motorola Talkabout Radio – Turn Off Roger Beep Sound [Video]

Turning off the roger beep sound on your Motorola Talkabout Radio is a bit difficult to figure out but, once you realize the trick, it is as simple as turning the radio on.

As is presented in the video above, users can turn the Motorola Talkabout roger beep on and off by holding the + button while turing the radio on.

If you decide that you’d like the beep back on, just turn the radio off again and repeat the process of turning the radio on with the + button being held.

There are multiple reasons why you would want to disable the beep on the Motorola Talkabout. Primarily, because it is just plain annoying.

When you need to use the radio in situations where as little noise as possible is better, such as hunting, disabling the roger beep can help a lot.

You may also want to consider buying a headset for the Motorola Talkabout to cut down even more on the external noise produced by the two-way radio.

Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off all sounds other than speaking (such as the slight beep that you hear when you turn the radio on) but I’d love to hear from some of you in the comments section below if you have some tips to reduce the noise of the Motorola Talkabout Two-Way Radios!

As always, if you find this video helpful, I would really appreciate a thumbs up and you may also want to think about subscribing to my YouTube channel.
