The video above shows you how to make a non-responsive WordPress website mobile-friendly and responsive with a simple WordPress plugin.
The plugin is called WPTouch and comes in both a free and a pro version.
The pro version allows users to choose between multiple themes and configure some advanced settings. I’m currently using the free version and my website is showing up great on mobile devices.

Google recently announced that they will be ranking mobile-friendly websites above non-mobile friendly websites in search results. It has been a good idea to have a responsive website for years but now it is almost a must.
I plan on updating AnsonAlex.com to be fully responsive in the near future but, until then, I’ll be using WPTouch to transform my non-responsive website into a responsive website.
When I analyze my website using the mobile-friendly test by Google, my website comes out as being fully mobile-friendly.
If you use the 3 Total Cache plugin for WordPress, you may notice a conflict that causes the mobile version of your site to appear in desktop browsers.
I’ll be publishing a video in the near future on how to resolve this conflict so stay tuned for that!
