The video shows users how to access different areas within LinkedIn using the navigational links provided by LinkedIn.
After watching this video, users should be able to access all features within LinkedIn, even though features will be covered more in-depth later on in the video series.
This is a great video for both beginner LinkedIn users and advanced as some advanced users may discover parts of LinkedIn that they were previously unaware of.

LinkedIn User Interface Tutorial
The primary page that user see when they first login to LinkedIn is the LinkedIn homepage. This page is similar to the Facebook homepage because users will see updates from the people that they’re connected to on LinkedIn.
Users will see posts from their LinkedIn connections, recent updates (such as a new job title), as well as posts from groups and influencer that the LinkedIn member follows.
By clicking on the profile link at the top of the LinkedIn user interface, users will be directed to their own homepage where they can view and edit their LinkedIn profile.
The network link allows user to see who they’re connected to on LinkedIn and discover new LinkedIn connections to build their professional network.
The jobs link allows users to browse for jobs that have been posted on LinkedIn based on job type, location or expertise level needed for the job. This is a great feature of LinkedIn because, at this point in the video series, you’ve already built a professional profile for potential employers to take a look at.
The interests area within LinkedIn allows users to following particular industries and topics to stay up-to-date on what is going on in the particular industry.
To the right side of the LinkedIn user interface, users can view all of their received messages and connection invitations by hovering over the envelope icon. The flag icon is where all notifications will be listed on LinkedIn such as accepted friend requests and certain updates.
Lastly, hovering over your profile picture in the top right corner of the LinkedIn user interface allows users to access and configure all of their LinkedIn settings including privacy and notification settings.
