If you’re familiar with Facebook then you probably know how annoying it is that every time you want to view your profile as someone else, you have go about 5 clicks deep into your privacy settings.
Because of Google+’s enhanced privacy and sharing features, its very useful to be able to view your profile as another person to make sure that you’ve configured your settings correctly.
Luckily, Google+ didn’t make the same mistake as Facebook did. Viewing your profile as someone else is extremely easy in Google Plus.
How To View Your Profile As Someone Else in Google Plus:
- Click on the “Profile” tab.
- Click in the text box on the right side of the screen that says, “View profile as…“.
- Type the name of the person that you would like to view your profile as or select “Anyone on the web”.
(Unfortunately Google Plus does not yet allow you to view your profile as a circle.)
