Email has evolved tremendously since the first electronic mail message was sent in 1971. To honor its 40th anniversary, ReachMail.net has released an infographic timeline of the history of email.
Its amazing how far email has come in only 40 years. After all, the postal service suffered an 8.5 billion dollar loss last year and the increase in email usage has been a large factor in that.
I expect to see email usage continue to increase in coming years as more people gain access to computers and the internet.
