“Photos folder syncing has been disabled for the iPhone ” – Error Fix [Video]

Photos Folder Syncing Disabled for iPhone

“Photos folder syncing has been disabled for the iPhone because the folder cannot be found.”

The video at the top of this page shows you how to fix the error message above received when trying to sync your iPhone or iPad to iTunes on your computer.

This error generally occurs when the computer or iOS device has been updated to a new operating system and / or the folder structure on the computer has been changed or moved.

To resolve the photos syncing error, we need to resync our iPhone / iPad with any folder on the computer.

Warning: Performing this fix will delete any photos on your iPhone that have been uploaded from a computer. Photos taken using the iPhone itself will not be deleted.

As you can see in the video above, you can resync the photos on your iPhone but connecting the iPhone to your computer and navigating to the “Photos” section within iTunes.

From here, choose any folder on your computer to sync your iPhone with (folders with few or no images will make the process faster), then click apply and sync at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Once the process is complete, you can uncheck the checkbox to unsync the photos from your phone if you would like to.

You should no longer receive the “Photos folder syncing has been disabled” error message when you plug your iPhone or iPad into your computer.
