If your Rust server list isn’t loading, showing or working, there are a number of troubleshooting techniques that you can try to help get the list to load.
Obviously you need to make sure that you’re connected to the internet. If you’re seeing a number of servers but not the specific one that you’re looking for, there is a possibly that the particular server is down or being DDOS attacked.
If you’re not seeing any servers at all, it may be an issue on your end.
First of all, exit the game, exit Steam and restart your computer. Make sure that when you start the game back up, that you start up Steam first so any available updates will automatically be installed.

You also may want to check and make sure that Rust is set to update automatically, as is shown in the video above.
Rust is still in alpha and there are a lot of bugs, glitches and exploits which can bring a particular server or even all servers down from time to time.
There is also a way to manually connect to a server using the server’s IP address and the Rust console. This method is also presented in the video above.
