Dates for the 2012 Apple Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) have finally been announced!
The WWDC event will take place at Moscone West in San Francisco, California during the week of June 11 to June 15.
Although rather pricey at $1599 a piece, tickets for the WWDC were available on the Apple developer website at 8am EST this morning but have already sold out!
Developers and enthusiasts anticipate that OSX Mountain Lion will be the primary topic of discussion at the 2012 event. The new Apple operating system is set to launch this summer – shortly after the WWDC.

OSX Mountain Lion will most likely do a better job of providing consistency between Apple desktop operating systems and their mobile operating systems. Because of this, it is also expected that IOS 6 will also be a major topic at the 2012 conference.
