Logging in to your Google Apps for Business, Education or Government account can definitely be a confusing process until you get used it.
The video tutorial above will show you all of the different options available for logging into your Google Apps account.
You can actually log in to your account right from the public facing Gmail login page but Google Apps users must remember to enter their entire email address.
Alternatively, you can visit the login page specifically designed for your domain by going to http://gmail.com/a/yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with the domain you’re using Google Apps with) and you will be presented with a log in page specifically designed for your Google Apps installation. At this page, you should not enter your entire email address but only your username as the domain suffix is appended automatically to the username you enter.
Google Apps administrators can visit the Google Admin Console page at http://admin.google.com. Within the Google Apps Admin Console, administrators have the option of creating custom URLs for their domain. Note that in order to create custom URLs, CNAME record changes will need to be made within the CPanel for your domain.
Once you clear up the confusion regarding how logging in to your Google Apps account from the public login page is different from logging in at the page specifically designed for your domain, the process becomes much easier!
