What Happens on the Internet in 1 Minute? [Infographic]

Internet in 60 seconds

The internet is growing faster than many of us ever realize. It is very difficult to wrap our heads around the size of the internet mainly because it is not a physical thing that we can see in one sitting.

So what really does happen in 60 seconds on the internet? I found a great infographic created by Go-Globe.com that gives us a great idea on what actually does happen in 1 minute on the web.

The infographic is displayed below but first here is a list of all that occurs online in 1 minute from largest volume to smallest volume:

Hi Anson, Very interesting. Being a trends guy, I'd like to see the trend of these rays, and how they have changed over time. For example I'd guess that the email slice is decreasing with increased use of IM, PM, Skype, etc. I know some who have abandoned email entirely for the more instant tools. Nice Blog! Thanks, Harv

Harv, it would be very interesting to see how these trends are changing. If another similar study is released in the future I will try to make a comparison between the two.

I also think that internet trends are changing very fast these days so I would add little bit of time to each of the statistics above.

Thanks for reading and providing some great feedback!
