Gmail – How to Change Your Password [Video]

The above video tutorial shows users how to change their Gmail password using the 2016 Gmail user interface.

Users can change their account password from multiple locations within the different Google services. For Gmail specifically, the password can be changed by clicking on the gear icon and then navigating to the Gmail settings.

From within the Gmail settings, click on the “Accounts and Import” section.

One of the first options from within this section will be to change your Google account password.

It’s a good idea to change your email password on regular basis. Going more than 6 months with the same email password puts you at risk of being hacked and possibly of being a victim of identity theft.

If you think that your account has already been compromised then you should change your password immediately.

As always, if you find this video helpful, I would really appreciate a thumbs up and you may also want to think about subscribing to my YouTube channel.
